A musculoskeletal assessment includes all important movements in different planes and specific tests carried out to get to the root of your problem. Once completed, an explanation of what has been found during the assessment is given to the client.
Then the therapist will discuss a detailed plan on how to move forward. The plan can consist of a single treatment or combination of treatments that is best suited for your problem. Ongoing support is given throughout the process to make you feel at ease.
After a complete injury assessment, you are advised for a rehabilitation program by one of our qualified therapists. We will provide a personalized program with the finest evidenced-based exercises for your problem/injuries, whether the therapist diagnosed you for a muscle strain or a herniated disc. Our therapists will use a variety of techniques: therabands, Bosu ball, weights, treadmill and many more to help you get back!
We will also accommodate your busy lifestyle so it does not halt your rehabilitation for your condition, allowing it to be a stress-free process and getting you fully fit and moving without pain.

We know each client is different and some may exceed the rehab protocol and some may take longer this is where our expert uses their knowledge and understanding alongside the postoperative protocols and go at a pace that is comfortable for the client to get optimum results; this is where we go that extra mile for our clients.

During the sports massage our therapist can also offer other soft tissue techniques, instrument assisted tissue massage (IASTM), cupping, post isometric relaxation (PIR), reciprocal inhibition (RI) and proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF).
IASTM are metal instruments designed specifically for the human body to help therapists detect and treat facial restrictions, chronic inflammation, aid in lay collagen fibres, breakdown of scar tissue and chorionic inflammation.
PIR, RI and PNF are hands-on treatment that targets muscles to lengthen and stretch muscles using 10-20% of effort so then the muscles can be lengthened increasing flexibility, reducing tightness, reducing stress, relieving pain and techniques can be used during all stages of rehab.
Cupping is an ancient form of alternative medicine that has been modified into the western world with professional athletes getting it done to the general public for general pain.
There a different types of cupping: dry, wet and fire, our therapist will discuss which will be best for you whether it’s a single or combination approach.
Cupping is used for many purposes including helping with pain, sport injuries, herniated disc, inflammation, blood flow, muscle strain, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage.
This is when a plastic or glass cup is placed on the skin mainly on the back area, then the air inside the cup is suctioned or vacuumed out creating negative pressure. The cups can then be used at rest or with movement and application time usually ranges from five to 10 minutes. Helps with blood flow, relaxation and well-being, as a type of deep-tissue massage and many more.
Wet cupping is also known as Hijama in Arabic, this creates a mild suction by placing plastic cups for about 3 minutes. Then the therapist removes the cups and uses a small scalpel to make light, tiny cuts on your skin. Next, cups are placed back on and a second suction is applied to draw out a small quantity of blood.
The bad blood is built of dead cells, toxins, inflammation, waste products that the body has not removed through its normal cleaning process. Wet cupping is used for headaches, back pain, aches and pains, tension, tightness and many more.
Fire cupping involves soaking a cotton ball in almost pure alcohol. The cotton is clamped by a pair of forceps and lit via match or lighter, and, in one motion, placed into the cup and quickly removed, while the cup is placed on the skin. Fire heats the inside of the cup and a small amount of suction is created by the air cooling down again and contracting.
Massage oil may be applied to create a better seal as well as allow the cups to glide over muscle groups in an act called "moving cupping". This helps in targeting deeper muscle structure as the suction is greater and helps with blood flow, relaxation and well-being, as a type of deep-tissue massage and many more.
